Originally created as an exclusive supply for the Hong Kong South Tian Trading Company, it was requested by South Tian to stamp a purple "天" character on the cotton paper packaging. This led to its colloquial name among Pu-erh tea enthusiasts as the "Tian Character Cake" or "Purple Tian Cake". 8592 is known for its large, robust leaves, offering a rich and mellow aged aroma with high sweetness and a smooth texture upon tasting.

The tea cake is well-shaped with moderate tightness, featuring thick and robust leaves with a slight presence of golden tips. The liquor is bright reddish-brown, exuding a pronounced sweet aroma with sugary notes. Its taste is sweet, mellow, and well-balanced, providing a smooth mouthfeel. The leaf base is red-brown in color, showcasing coarse and robust leaves with a noticeable stem presence.
