Taiwan Dong Ding Oolong Tea (200g)
RM 86.00Being praised as the “Holy Tea” due to its rare production. Only made by tea tree grow on a high mountain above 600-1000m altitude. The liquid is in honey golden-green color, taste refreshing and with high fragrance aroma. The sweet after taste stays longer at mouth and throat. It also is used in the bath by the royal family back in history.
The road on the Dong Ding Mountain near Lugu Township, Taiwan is very steep and foggy. The tea farmer needs to “froze” their feet when they go to pick tea on the mountain otherwise they might fall down. Hence, they call the top of the mountain “洞顶Dong Ding” which mean the frozen top, and the foot of the mountain “冻脚Dong Jiao” which mean frozen feet. The production is limited and precious.
This tea has a half-round ball shape, in dark green color with a natural fresh fragrance. The liquid is orange-yellow, taste mellow, thick and with Osmanthus aroma. Comes with a strong sweet after taste.

First developed in the 1970s, it has tender leaves with fine golden buds on its surface and broad thick leaves at its center. This tea is moderately fermented and delicately process. The tea’s liquid is in deep red and has a mellow, thick and full-bodied taste. This tea is considered as the quality benchmark of all ripe Pu’er tea in China.
Origin
Most of the raw materials of Taatea Pu’er tea come from the birthplace of tea trees in the world – China Yunnan Menghai County, the core production area of Pu’er Tea.

Taetea – Rose Puer Tea (1601)
RM 233.00This tea, we call it “Rose Taetea” or “Purple Taetea”. As we know, Rose Taetea is the first Pu’er Tea produced and labeled under Taetea’s logo and trademark by Menghai tea factory. In 2001 and 2003, Menghai Tea Factory also produced tea with a purple package and a Taetea logo in the center. However, since 1996 Purple Taetea is the first tea using this kind of packaging, and the purple color discolor into rose color after year. That is the reason why we love to call 1996 Purple Taetea as “Rose Taetea”, and also to distinguish from the Purple Taetea of other years. It has been 20 years when the classic reappears, the Rose Taetea of 1601 batch. One of the classic and premium ripe tea of Taetea. Using big tree raw materials to ferment to produce a delicate and high-grade product.
Rose Taetea tastes sweet, smooth, and mellow, with a long finish. Packaging with bamboo shoot shell in a carton, which is conduction for the aging process.
