Raw materials using semi-made tea from the high mountain area, undergo a moderate fermentation process. The tea cake is round and regular, tea leaves are tight and even, with clearly golden pekoe. The liquid is bright red, taste thick, smooth, and mellow with an aged aroma. Have a long-lasting after taste.
Origin
Most of the raw materials of Taatea Pu’er tea come from the birthplace of tea trees in the world – China Yunnan Menghai County, the core production area of Pu’er Tea.

GSTTaetea Thick Smell ripe tea of 1701 batch – the tea has a golden sprinkling surface, taste mellow, sweet and smooth. “Yan酽”, phonetic characters, sound Yan, means tea or wine that tastes thick. “Pu’er tea is famous all over the world, the taste of thick Smell, especially valued by the capital”. This is the opening of “The history of Pu’er Tea” by Ruan Fu from the Qing Dynasty, also the origin of the name of this tea cake.

Taetea – 7692 (1801)
RM 43.00 Incl. GST7692 is one of the regular ripe tea cake of Menghai Tea Factory. Using premium selected Yunnan big leaf tea as raw material, made delicately with Taetea processing technology (selected into the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of China).
Due to its special aging recipe, this product has noticeable “sweet, mellow and smooth” characteristics, always loved by a lot of consumers. The tea cake is round and regular, not too tight, and is easy to pry. The color is bright black and good looking. Packaging with cotton paper, having a fresh and simple look. Everything is so familiar just like meeting an old friend. The liquid is brown-red, with a noticeable sweet scent. It is slightly bitter at first but having a sweet after taste later.

- Taste mellow, thick and sweet: Thick, heavy, and a full-bodied taste produced by very tender raw materials. A perfect combination of bone and flesh. A certain amount of sweet after taste, not too sweet nor too astringent which is hard to achieve.
- Pure and strong aroma: Pure is the basic aroma requirement. Having a strong feel but not overly strong. If the scent is over strong, the too sweet or tainted aged smell will destroy the beauty of the tea.
- The Charm of V93: Fresh! It is very hard to be fresh. Freshness is built on the taste and aroma. The balance between the taste and scent is the base of Freshness. Avoid tainted smell is the basic requirement. The ratio of the amino acids, tea polyphenols, alkaloids is the key to freshness which can only be handled through the recipe and fermentation technology.
