    Taetea Thick Smell ripe tea of 1701 batch – the tea has a golden sprinkling surface, taste mellow, sweet and smooth. “Yan酽”, phonetic characters, sound Yan, means tea or wine that tastes thick. “Pu’er tea is famous all over the world, the taste of thick Smell, especially valued by the capital”. This is the opening of “The history of Pu’er Tea” by Ruan Fu from the Qing Dynasty, also the origin of the name of this tea cake.

    Origin Most of the raw materials of Taatea Pu’er tea come from the birthplace of tea trees in the world – China Yunnan Menghai County, the core production area of Pu’er Tea. Technology The Taetea Processing Technology was selected into the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of China, boasts rich technical content, constantly innovate the blending technology and fermentation technology. Thus Taetea has a numerous classic Pu’er formula, applying a microbiology technology for tea making. Culture & Collection Every Taetea product has been well-designed with its unique and profound humanistic connotation, very suitable for collecting and tasting! Age More than 70 years of focus on Pu’er tea field, with rich storage of different year aged raw materials. Most of the old Pu’er tea products currently in existence are from the Menghai Tea Factory.

    Gao Shan Qiao Mu Ming Qian Chun Jian, formula invented by the experienced tea master, Mr. Zheng Biao Xiong from China Local Products Xuchan Yunnan Tea Import and Export Corporation after years of study. Using selected, natural, wild growth big tree tea leaves from Mengku county, Yunnan. The tea tree grows above the 1800m altitude without any pollution. Processed with the traditional sun-dried method.

    The whole production is strictly under the watch of tea master Mr. Zheng to get a premium teacake. Shape as the full moon, tea stalks are strong, tight with obvious silver buds. The aroma is special and pure, tastes thick, mellow and has sweet after taste. The liquid is bright orange-yellow.

    Drink a sip of hot tea can clean your mind and heart. Only produced 2000kg of tea, each piece weigh 400g. It is an unmissable product for Pu’er tea collector. Limited to 600 bags.

    7542 batch 1801 uses a blue background packaging with a round of this year zodiac, dog. Pack with a bamboo sheet and put it in a bamboo basket.     A gifted scholar in Qing Dynasty wrote in “The History of Pu’er Tea”,  “Pu’er tea is famous all over the world, the taste of thick Smell, especially valued by the capital”. This is also the origin of the name of this tea cake.

    “Yan酽”, phonetic characters, sound Yan, means tea or wine that tastes thick.

    Thick Smell is the newly invented formula by Taetea in 2006, as a classic, drinking series. Thick Smell 1701, made with selected sun-dried big leaf tea from Yunnan, undergoes appropriate fermentation and is pressed with high steam temperature. The smell is strong but not violent, with smoke aroma. Indeed a premium raw tea.

    Firstly produced in 1980, is a regular product of Menghai Tea Factory. In 1985, Hong Kong Southern Trading Company start to customize 8582 tea. Compared with 7582, 8582 uses more tea stalk which is better for the late period conversion process. 8582 is too famous at the time which caused the 7582 tea to stop production. 7582 only remakes after the 90’s. It is produced every few years same as the custom-made “Purple Sky” teacake by Southern Company. The price is always higher than the 8592 teacakes made in the same year.

    0562 Ripe Tea is a regular product of Menghai Tea Factory invented in the year 2005. This tea cake is released at the 1st Anniversary of the restructuring of the tea factory. Menghai Tea Factory using its 65 years of tea production experience and produced this product intending to inherit the ancient and modern to recreate a new, glorious future. It also won the special gold prize at China Tea Expo in the year 2006.

    Using selected Yunnan big leaf tea from Lancang River Basin as raw material, made with Taetea processing technology (selected into the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of China). Teacake is round and tight, having an even surface. Taste thick and full-bodied, high sweet, and long after taste. The liquid is smooth and slightly astringent, the sweet taste will stay longer at your throat.
